Layout

How the area is arranged.

We lay the area out in two parts: a mat area for the under-fives, and the main play area for the older ones.

  • Under 8 months in the mat area, 9 months to 6 years in the main play room.
  • 60 minutes, with the room reset between sessions.
  • How many children we take in each session.

House rules

Four rules for the play area.

The rules we ask everyone to keep to, so the room stays a calm place for the little ones.

  • Socks on in the play area.
  • No food or drink inside the play area.
  • An adult stays with each child in the room.
  • No running in the room.
Seating for parents

Seating for parents

Parent seating is part of the play area rather than a separate room, so you can keep the tables and the play space in one view.

  • Tables and chairs along the edge of the play area, in sight of the room.
  • Drinks and food from the café menu, served to the table.
  • A quieter corner with smaller chairs.
