This site is a demonstration built by BytesFX. Nothing on this page is a contract, a booking, an offer or a promise of a service. Last updated 21 October 2026.
What this site is
BytesFX built this website to show what a family café, soft play area and party booking flow can look like. BytesFX Café & Bookings is not a trading business: there is no café behind this site.
Nothing on this site creates a contract, a reservation, a booking, a price commitment, or a right to any service. If you fill in a form, the site will show you a confirmation. That confirmation is the page answering your own input. It is not an offer, an acceptance, or a commitment by anyone to provide anything.
You do not need to enter anything real. The forms on these pages come prefilled with example details for exactly that reason.
What a booking does
A booking is simulated against the generated availability list. The site generates a list of slots for the weeks ahead, so that the calendar behaves like a real one. When you pick a slot and submit the form, three things happen:
- the form is validated;
- the slot is checked against the generated list;
- a reference beginning
DEMO-is generated and shown to you.
No deposit is taken. No payment session is created. No date is held, and the slot is not removed from the list. The reference is generated, not issued: it identifies nothing, it cannot be looked up, and it cannot be quoted back to anyone. There is no booking behind it.
The menu
The menu page shows an example menu with illustrative prices, alongside descriptions of dishes that are not made anywhere. Those prices and descriptions are examples, written for this site. They are not a price list, not a quotation and not an offer, and they do not describe any food that is cooked, sold or served.
The party packages
The parties page shows example packages with example durations, age ranges, guest numbers and prices. All of it is illustrative. The ages, durations, capacities and prices were chosen to show what a package page can carry, not to describe a real offer. None of it is an offer, a quotation or a price list, and no package can be booked, bought or reserved.
What does not exist
There are no real facilities behind this site. The café has no premises, no address, no telephone number, no opening hours, no staff, no food hygiene rating and no registration details, because no café trades behind it.
The images on this site are AI-generated illustrations. They are not photographs of a building, a room, food or a party, and they should not be read as a record of anything real. Each one is labelled as an illustration where it appears.
The calendar's entries are generated too. The closure and the private hire you can see on the calendar are generated events, not real bookings, and they do not describe any real venue's opening pattern.
There is one part of this site that works for real, and it is not open to the public: the staff sign-in at the foot of the page, which lets the owner reach the booking dashboard. It behaves like a real sign-in, and signing in does not make you a customer, does not reserve anything, and does not create a contract with anyone. The café it fronts does not exist.
Food, allergens and dietary labels
The dietary labels on the menu, such as vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free, are illustrative. They show how a menu might be labelled. They have not been checked by anyone against a real kitchen, a real recipe or a real allergen list, and they are not allergen advice.
A real café would need a proper allergen process: accurate ingredient information for every dish, staff who know what is in the food, clear labelling in the kitchen, and a written policy for what happens when an ingredient changes. None of that exists here. Please do not use this site to plan a meal for anyone with an allergy.
What a live version would need
A café that actually took bookings would need a good deal more than this site has. At a minimum:
- Published terms. Written for customers, and clear about what a party booking includes and what it does not.
- A consumer contract. What is being offered, at what price, when the contract is formed, and what happens to any deposit if the booking is cancelled or the café has to close at short notice.
- A complaints route. How to complain, who receives it, and what happens next.
None of that is present here, and nothing on this page is written to stand in for it. This is a design and engineering exercise, not a set of terms for a business.
Questions
Questions about the site are welcome on the contact page. The contact form is an enquiry form: it is validated and then discarded, and no message is sent. There is no postal address, telephone number or email address for a café to reply from, because there is no café.
